5. What is an Enumeration Form (EF) and how do I fill it?
An Enumeration Form (EF) is a pre-printed form containing your current voter list details, your BLO's name, and contact details.
- What you need to do: Fill out your Date of Birth, Mobile Number, [ID Number Redacted] (optional), and relatives' details. You must also paste a recent colored photograph over the old pre-printed photo.
- How to submit: Your BLO will make at least 3 visits to your house to distribute and collect it. Alternatively, urban voters and temporary migrants can fill out the EF online via voters.eci.gov.in.
6. Can I use an external database to help find my past registration data?
Yes. Electors and BLOs can access the All-India database of the previous SIR (2002-2004) at voters.eci.gov.in to match or link names.
7. Which specific application forms are used during the SIR?

- Born in India between 01.07.1987 and 02.12.2004: Document for self AND any document for Father or Mother establishing date/place of birth.
- Born in India after 02.12.2004: Document for self AND documents for BOTH Father and Mother establishing date/place of birth. (Note: If a parent is non-Indian, a valid passport and visa at the time of your birth are required).
- Born outside India: Proof of Birth Registration issued by the Indian Mission abroad.
- Acquired citizenship via registration/naturalization: Certificate of Registration of Citizenship.
9. What are some examples of accepted indicative documents?
Self-attested copies of the following documents can be submitted:

10. What is the maximum voter limit per Polling Station?
Through the rationalization process, no polling station is permitted to have more than 1,200 electors. New polling stations will be set up in high-rise buildings, Resident Welfare Association (RWA) colonies, and slum clusters.
11. What happens if I want to appeal a decision made about my inclusion or exclusion?
If you disagree with the decision made by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO):
- You can file a 1st Appeal with the District Magistrate (DM).
- If you are still unsatisfied, you can file a 2nd Appeal with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the State/UT.

13. What do I need to do when the BLO visits my house?

18. I am a new voter. Does SIR apply to me?
